Why I Play Second Life
When i think of this question i feel the need to get a little personal. In my ordinary life, i deal with being disabled. I have growth hormone deficiency which has led to Diabetes, Kidney failure, and heart failure. Sometimes I’m unable to even walk across the street.
I’m no quitter though. I hold a Bachelor’s, Masters and Doctorate of Divinity. Also, I have started a local ministry called Healing In Christ New Testament Church. I also run a coaching business and networking company. However, my illness limits my ability for social interactions sometimes. And also sometimes my health limits the things I can do.
Second Life Gives Freedom
On Second Life I’ve found a new community of people that I can talk with and interact with. I’ve developed some real friendships on this virtual plane and I love it so much. I can share my love of music and also create stories through the roleplay opportunities the site affords.
Faith comes into the equation with why I play Second Life
Faith is a major part of my life as you probably can tell. I get the opportunity to serve others by being a Deacon at Vision Church. I also attend House of Prayer intercessory prayer meetings with Jeremiah Carrasco some nights, and I run the Gibborim Motorcycle Club which is my own ministry to help reach people for the Lord via riding choppers and hawgs!
Second Life Business is no play thing!
As your reading this website you see I can also test my business acumen on Second Life by producing content and making a living off of making content for the world to see. I love that I can do things I probably never could in real life like climbing a mountain, fly planes, ride motorcycles, farm and rock the stage. I want to ask you all why do you play Second Life? What keeps you logging into the grid? The best answer will get a 500$L gift card credit to my favorite store on the grid Gabriel, and this is not sponsored by them this is me paying out my pocket, but with their 1$L section and 50$L section, 500 can go a long way!
